Hello dear friends,
Oh, how I look forward to our knitting get-togethers every week! There’s nothing quite like sitting together with a cup of tea (or coffee), needles clicking, and good conversation flowing. Whether you’re a brand-new beginner, a seasoned knitter, or somewhere in between, you are so welcome here. We laugh, we share our latest projects, we help each other fix those tricky mistakes, and we make new friends.
I’m Kay, and I’ve been knitting for more years than I care to count! I still get excited every time I see someone’s eyes light up when they master a new stitch or finish something beautiful.
Friday Knitting Group
Every Friday from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm
We meet at a lovely local business in Coeur d’Alene. This is our relaxed, gentle morning group — perfect if you like a quieter start to your weekend. Bring whatever project you’re working on (or I’ll help you start something new). We share patterns, yarn tips, and plenty of stories.
Saturday Knitting Group
Every Saturday from 10:00 am to noon
We meet at a friendly coffee shop in Hayden. Our Saturday group has a bit more energy and laughter! We often have several projects going at once, with lots of “show and tell.” It’s wonderful for those who want a little more conversation and inspiration.
What to Bring
- Your current knitting project (or empty hands — I always have extra needles and yarn to get you started)
- A smile and your favorite story to share
- Optional: a treat to pass around if you’d like!
